We are currently seeking motivated and physically fit Section Worker to join the Tank House operations team in Townsville. This is a hands-on role working in a demanding industrial environment with ongoing training provided.

Key responsibilities:

  • Inspect copper growth and identify imperfections during the production process
  • Use specialised tools and blades to remove excess copper growth from cells
  • Work safely on top of active copper cells in high-temperature environments
  • Monitor growth levels using measuring equipment and follow operational procedures
  • Maintain strong focus on safety and compliance standards at all times
  • Work collaboratively within a 24/7 rotating roster environment
  • Perform physically demanding tasks requiring consistent upper body strength
  • Maintain productivity and attention to detail during long shifts


Requirements:

  • Physically fit with strong upper body strength
  • Ability to work in extremely hot and humid conditions
  • Comfortable performing repetitive tasks while looking downward for extended periods
  • Strong commitment to workplace safety and compliance
  • Reliable, motivated, and able to work rotating shifts
